Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 1 to Jan. 8, 2014 - Dakota Andrew Thomas, age 19, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and dear friend came into this world on January 13, 1994 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. and left way too soon on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Dakota will be dearly missed and loved by all. Every life he came into was changed for the better with his positive attitude and compassion for others. He was funny and dedicated and his smile was infectious. Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Thomas and Samuel Thomas, and John J. Fennessy. He is survived by his mother, Michelle Thomas of Kingman, Ariz; father, Terry Thomas of Bullhead City, Ariz; brothers, Kyle Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio, and James Thomas of Kailua, Hawaii; sisters, Kassandra Thomas of Laughlin, Nev., Nicole Correll of Bullhead City, Ariz; grandparents, Bettie Elliott; nieces and nephews, Braydon, Ashlyn and Camden Correll of Bullhead City, Ariz., Elizabeth Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Paitlyn Williamson of Laughlin, Nev.; many aunts and uncles; and many friends and co-workers that loved him dearly. A viewing will be held at 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 South Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz. A burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 where he will be laid to rest in peace.
