Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Thursday, June 7, 1900, page 4, col. 2 Died - at her home, near Granite mountain, this county, June 5, 1900, Mrs. B. A. Weston, aged 71 years. She was a native of Georgia, but has resided in this section since 1877. The death was sudden and unexplained, the result of a recent attack of la grippe. She leaves two sons to mourn her loss - L. M. Weston and J. M. Weston. Deceased was well known and highly respected throughout this section of country, and her death has caused much sadness in the home neighborhood and general regret throughout this section. --------------------------------- Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, June 13, 1900, page 8 Death Of Mrs. Weston After suffering for several weeks from an attack of grippe, but from which it was thought she was recovering, Mrs. Weston, who lives in the Granite mountain district, died quite suddenly yesterday. The body was brought to the undertaking parlors of S. A. Logan, from which place the funeral was held this afternoon, the services being conducted by Chaplain Winfield Scott, of the Baptist church. Mrs. Weston was 83 years of age and had lived in this county for many years and was greatly loved by all who knew her. She was the mother of Samuel Pemberton's wife, who died a few years ago. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Weston is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Az. and there is no headstone marking her place of burial.
