The Arizona Republic Sat., Dec. 5, 1964. Glendale -- Mrs. Barbara B. Combs, 36, a resident of Glendale 19 years, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1964, in Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Commerce, Oklahoma, Mrs. Combs lived in Prescott the past six months. Services will be conducted Monday in the First Baptist Church, 7317 N. 61st Ave. The Rev. C. I. Tucker will officiate. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may call in Brazill-Whitney Mortuary, 5754 W. Glenn Dr., Glendale. Surviving are her husband, Leonard M.; two daughters, Sharon and Diane; and two sons, Anthony and John, all of Prescott; her father, Herbert A. Bradford, of Joplin, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Jane Underdown of Prescott; and her grandmother, Mrs. M.E. Wilson, of Glendale. Note: Her name was spelled "Barrbara R. Combs" in the obituary heading.
