Arizona Journal Weekly Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, August 13, 1890, page 3, col. 7 A Pioneer's Death Wickenburg, Aug. 9. - John Egloff, aged 56, of this place, died of consumption this morning, and was buried this evening. He had been a resident of this place for the last 16 years, and previous to that had lived in the old town of La Paz. He was in the employ of the Arizona Stage Company, as stockman, for years, and had many friends. Of late years he has kept the stage station here. He leaves a wife and three children, who mourn the loss of a kind husband and generous father.
