Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published on January 1, 2014 - Arlene Elizabeth Tripp passed away Dec. 18, 2013 at the Polidori House in Lake Havasu City, with her loving family by her side. She was born Aug. 12, 1938 in San Diego, Calif., to Herbert P. Allison and Margaret K. (Moore) Allison. Both deceased. She grew up a California Girl and graduated from El Segundo High School Class of 1958. Arlene saw all that was good in life. She was an adventurous cook, a determined violinist and an avid quilter, just to mention a few of her many interests. She truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially walking with friends. Arlene is survived by her three children she raised in the Seattle area, Denny Gober, Alaska; Dr. Kenneth Gober, Washington; and Sharon (Danny) Welborn, Hawaii and her sister Shirley (Gary) Ray, Lake Havasu. She will forever be Grandma Honey to her eight grandchildren: Allison, Roslyn, Jace, Jessica, Lexi, Jake, Olivia and Amber. Her sweet smile and joyful heart will be missed by her many friends and family. Services were held in Earp, Calif., at Bermuda Palms on Dec. 28 and in Mount Vernon, Wash., on Saturday, Jan. 4.
