Ann E. Burrell, 96, of Cottonwood, died March 4. She was born April 27, 1912, in Dodge City, Kan., the daughter of Zachariah T. and Esther Hobbs.
She graduated from Clarkdale High School. Mrs. Burrell owned and operated a restaurant and was also an accountant for several places.
A member of the Cottonwood Assembly of God Church where she made many quilts for the church, she enjoyed gardening and played many mind-stimulating games.
She was preceded in death by sons Thomas, Milton and John and a daughter Bernice.
Mrs. Burrell is survived by two daughters, Loree Baker of Phoenix and Alice McCoy of Cornville; 21 grandchildren and an abundant number of great-grandchildren.
An hour of visitation will be held on Monday March 16 at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery.
