Private memorial services for Warren E. Pickett, 74, a retired insurance agent here a year will be held in the First Baptist Church here.  The Rev. Milton Van Slyke will officiate.  Cremation will follow.  

Mr. Pickett, 8407 E. Coronado, died Saturday in Scottsdale Baptist Hospital.  

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he moved here from Washington, Pennsylvania.  Surviving are his wife, Ruth K.; a son, Edward K. of Vineland, N.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Helms of Scottsdale and Mrs. Ernest Olmstead of Rapid City, S.D.; and a sister, Mrs. Gordon Gilmore of Portland, Oregon.
