Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 7 to Jan. 14, 2014 - Donald A. Grasse Jr., age 60, a 26-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz. and Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. He was born on August 7, 1953 in Los Angeles, Calif. Donald worked as a construction superintendent. He belonged to the Mohave Valley Contractors Association and in the past was Chairman of Academy of Building Industries. Don has left his mark on all those that knew him. His love for his community, family and friends is everlasting. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Donald A. Grasse Sr. Don is survived by his wife, Laura Grasse of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; sons, Brandon (Jenna) Grasse of Fort Mohave, Ariz., Justin (Vanessa) Piper of Portland, Ore., and Maxwell (Chelsea) Piper of Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughters, Mariah and Addison of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; nieces, Randi Lynn Grasse of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Jacqueline Grasse of Bullhead City, Ariz.; extended family, siblings, uncle and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce (downstairs) 1251 Hwy 95, BHC, Ariz., a potluck and gathering will follow. Flower donations can be delivered to the Bullhead Area Chamber starting Friday, January 3, 2014 or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Academy of Building Industries, 1547 Lipan Blvd, Fort Mohave, Ariz.
