CURRY, John A.

Services for John A. Curry, 1229 E. Monroe, were in Webbers Eastlake Mortuary, 1641 E. Jefferson. The Rev. L. K. Williams of Tanner Chapel AME Church officiated. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Curry, 77, died Wed., Dec. 2, 1964, at his home. A native of Monk Town, Texas, he came here 25 years ago from Gallup, New Mexico, and was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Carpenters Local 1089 in Phoenix and was a World War I veteran. Mr. Curry is survived by his wife, Geneva; two sons, Calvin, Phoenix and John, Cockham, Calif.; a daughter, Eweree Curry, Los Angeles; a brother and a sister out of state; and two grandchildren. The AZ Republic Dec. 6, 1964.
