Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, January 8, 2014 - Mickey Leann Glessing passed away Jan. 4, 2014 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 61. She was born June 8, 1952 in Pocatello, Idaho to John Raymond Glessing and Melva Marie (Joslin-Kuck). Mickey loved animals. She would always take in strays. Bandit was her companion for the last seven years. Mickey saw beauty in everyone and everything. Mickey is survived by her mother, Melva Marie (Louis) McCammon of Lake Havasu City; daughter-in-law, Norma Glessing of Kingman; daughter, Lynette (Rahsaan) Corona-Miller; brother, Raymond Jay (Pearl) Glessing of Sparks, Nev.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Sean Glessing whom she just lost a year ago. Mickey wanted everyone to remember, she sends sunshine and rainbows to everyone. A visitation will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. with funeral service at 11 a.m. Chaplain Sandra Johnson will be offering words of comfort. She will be laid to rest next to her son at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens after the service. Donations can be made in Mickey’s name to Hospice of Havasu Polidori House, 1970 Bahama Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
