Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory October 4, 1893, page 3, col. 3 (From Friday's Daily) Mrs. Geo. H. Adams, died this forenoon of typhoid fever, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mills. Deceased was a native of Fulton, Orange county, New York, and was born October 12, 1846, lacking only a few days of being 47 years old. She came with her husband six or seven years ago. She was an aunt of the late O. L. Gibbs of Phenix, and her son, who has been telegraphed to, and is expected to arrive here this evening, was manager of Gibb's dairy farm . The time for the funeral has not been definitely fixed but will probably occur on Sunday. ------------------------------------- Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory October 4, 1893, page 3, col. 5 (From Sunday's Daily) The funeral of the late Mrs. Geo. H. Adams took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock under the auspices of the Good Templars lodge. Interment was in the Citizens cemetery, east of town, and although deceased had only resided here for a short time, the funeral was largely attended. The Prescott High school was dismissed this afternoon, in order to allow the members of the Good Templars' lodge in that room to attend the funeral. Transcriber's note: The exact place of Mrs. Adam's burial at the Citizens Cemetery is not known.
