The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/10/2014 Goldie Cooley Munoz entered into rest Jan. 2, 2014, in Topeka, Kan. She was born May 6, 1941, in Cibecue. Goldie is survived by her husband, Patrick Munoz; daughters: Jenny Munoz, Lupe Munoz, Marsha Munoz, Sonya Burnette, Dorcas Paxson; sister Marlena Larzelere; 10 grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Goldie’s body will be brought home Friday, Jan. 10, for a one-night wake starting at 10 a.m. at Adam and Sonya Burnette’s residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Cibecue, officiated by Pastor Gary Lupe. Interment will be at the Sunny Side Cemetery in Cibecue. Manzanita Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
