Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Monday, January 06, 2014 Martha “Gussie” Crawford, age 64, of Arlington, Ariz., died on Dec. 28, 2013. She was born on Feb. 5, 1949, the daughter of Lester D. Schmidt and Edith Lee Brenton. She was born and raised in Globe until 1995. She is survived by her husband, John Crawford; her children, Tania Crawford of Bend, Ore., Jacie Landers of Arlington, Ariz., and Justin Crawford of Gilbert, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Wyatt Webb, 12, and Crissa Crawford, 10; step-grandchildren, Kellie Webb, 21, Raymond Chavez, 17, and Clayton Landers, 14; and her brother, Allen Schmidt of Henderson, Nev. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Lee Schmidt; her father, Lester D. Schmidt; infant daughter, Jolie (1973); and her nephew, Travis Schmidt. No services will be held at her request.
