The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 18, 2009 CSM Ulric "Rick" Nielson (RET) lost his battle to cancer on March 12, 2009 at the age of 76 in Prescott, Ariz. He served in the United States Army from 1949-1971, during this time he served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He is survived by his bride Donna; daughter Denice; sons, Rick and Ron; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Pat Reed in California. The memorial celebration will be 1 p.m. June 7, 1009 at the Bucky O'Oneil VFW Post #541, 220 N. Arizona, Prescott.
