Frederick E.
Frederick E. Kuleman, 97, who was in charge of the U. S. Post Office Censorship Bureau during World War I in New York City, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1964, in Yavapai Community Hospital.
Mr. Kuleman's career with the post office began in his native Akron, Ohio, in the 1890s. He was transferred to New York and became one of the clerks in charge of the U. S. Sea Post Service there. He moved to Prescott in 1950.
Mr. Kuleman's parents were among the first persons to settle in Wisconsin. They later moved to Ohio where Mr. Kuleman completed secondary schools. He was graduated from Dr. Guenther's Institute in Brunswick, Germany.
His daughter, Mrs. Joseph Sloan Criswell of Prescott, survives.
Services were held in Bayside Queens, N.Y. Interment at Maple Grove Memorial Park, Kew Gardens, N.Y.
