FERRIS, James Edward

Requiem Mass for James Edward Ferris, 77, was said in St. Mary's Catholic Church Dec. 7, 1964.  

Mr. Ferris, 727 1/2 E. Portland, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1964, in a Phoenix hospital.  

Born in Iowa, he moved to Phoenix five years ago from Sioux Falls, S.D.  He had been an agent with the National Reserve Life Insurance Co. 50 years.  

Surviving are his wife, Marion T.; a daughter, Mrs. William Russell of Torrence, CA, a son, Delbert J. of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Downing of Phoenix and Mrs. Gertrude Ingham of Fontana, CA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  

Rosary was recited in Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.  Burial in St. Francis Cemetery.
