Thompsons Valley West Funeral Chapel, Goodyear, Arizona Loriane (Rena) Crane-Smith, 91, of Avondale died January 10, 2014 in Glendale, AZ. She was born July 25, 1922 in Grand Junction, CO to Samuel and Marth Rowton. She was a charter member of Acacia #46 Order of Eastern Star; past guardian of Job’s Daughters Bethel #8; and retired from Avondale Elementary School as the cafeteria manager. She is survived by her husband Leroy Smith; daughters Yvonne Heenan and Sharon Hill; son Dennis Crane; sisters Anna Mae Crofoot, Ollie June Pickett, Darlene Gutierrez; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Crane; daughter Brenda Joyce Crane; son Wallace Crane; two sisters: Merle and Barbara; and her brother Junior.
