Yvonne (Rocha) Prickett, age 71, of Selma, Oregon, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at her home.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 with the Funeral Mass to follow at Church of the Nativity in Flagstaff, Arizona with Father Patrick Mowrer officiating. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Yvonne was born August 27, 1942 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Lee and Apolonia (Paula) Tafoya. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School and graduated in 1957. In 1961 she graduated from Flagstaff High School. She married Robert Rocha who together had a daughter Patti, whom she later divorced and they remained friends. In 1988 she married Lee Prickett, together adding a daughter Jasmine. Yvonne worked for the Flagstaff Public Schools starting in 1970 as the Principal’s secretary at East Flagstaff Junior High.
She then transferred to Coconino High School where she worked as the Administrative Secretary until her retirement in 2002. She then began to work with Lee at his business, Lee’s Financial Services until they moved to Selma, Oregon in 2007 to be closer to her daughter Patti. Yvonne touched many lives throughout the years and will be deeply missed.
She was a member of the St Pius X Crafts Guild and Ladies Elks Lodge.
Her hobbies included gardening, scrapbooking, sewing and crafting.
Survivors include her husband, Lee; two daughters Patti Cardinell and Jasmine Prickett of Selma, OR; two step sons Frank (Stacy) Prickett, of Flagstaff, AZ and Marc (Sara) Prickett of VA; two step daughters Tanya (Jonathan) Hernandez, of Flagstaff, AZ and Tammy McHood of Phoenix, AZ; four sisters Rosie (Ray) Bojorquez and Joanne (Paul) Neumann both of Flagstaff, AZ, Nancy (Kim) Leonard of Sonora, CA, and Marie (Mike) Merritt of Ashfork, AZ; three brothers, Joe (Susan) Anaya of Surprise, AZ; Greg Gutierrez of Cornville, AZ and Anthony (Jennifer) Gutierrez of Chandler, AZ; 8 grandchildren.
She is preceded in Death by father Lee Chavez Tafoya, step-father Jose G Gutierrez and mother Paula Gutierrez.
