Brian L. Heitzinger, age 57, an 11-year resident of Laughlin, Nev. and Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013. He was born on October 3, 1956 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

He loved nature and was an avid hiker. Brian spent many hours hiking trails and mountains near Bullhead City, Hualapai and Grand Canyon.

A memorial service will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (NV time) on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at American Legion Post 60, 1510 Bruce Woodbury Drive, Laughlin, Nev.
