Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona David Allen Hughey (January 20, 1965 - January 10, 2014) David Allan Hughey, 48, of Flagstaff, AZ passed away January 10, 2014. He was born January 20, 1965 in San Manuel, Arizona to Jimmy F. Hughey and Lynda Joyce Smith Hughey. David was raised in San Manuel, graduating from San Manuel High school. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1985 to 1989. He worked at Magma Copper and later at Flagstaff Medical Center. David was an outdoorsman enjoying camping, fishing and a good football game. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be best remembered as a kind and loving man that loved a practical joke or two. David is survived by his wife Renee, of Flagstaff, parents, Jimmy and Lynda Hughey, sister Carolyn (Steve) Wood of San Manuel, AZ, niece Chelsea David (Mykayla and Gregory Arnett) of Tucson, Niece Alyssa Maher, Nephew Nathan Maher of Tucson, Aunt Barbara Ramsey and Uncle Louie of Tombstone, AZ, Aunt Joyce Hughey of San Manuel, and numerous extended family members. Memorial service will be Saturday, January 18th 3:30 at Cactus Community Church, 1600 W. Irvington Rd., Tucson, AZ 85746.
