VAN WIEREN, Dorothy

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, January 15, 2014 Dorothy Van Wieren, formerly of Wickenburg, passed away on Jan. 10 after a brief illness. Born and raised in Midland Park, N.J., she relocated to Arizona with her late husband Nicholas upon retirement. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Dottie and Gordon Storms of Wickenburg, grandson Matthew of Globe, son Nick of Phoenix. sister Catherine and niece Carol (both of Phoenix), brothers Albert and John in New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Irene and Pearl. Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, with a private graveside ceremony at the National Veteran’s Cemetery in Phoenix this Thursday (Jan. 16).
