Debbie Lou Bittenbender, 61, died Dec. 31, 2013, in Show Low. She was born March 13, 1952, in Portland, Maine.

Debbie loved fishing and worked at the Vernon schools.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Louise Catton, father Frederick Leland Catton Sr., brother Frederick Leland Catton Jr. and sister Betty Lee Bittenbender.

She is survived by her husband, George Ernest Bittenbender; sons: George E. (Shar) Bittenbender III, Zachary Catton Jr., David (Andrea) Bittenbender, Richard N. (Marie) Currier; daughter Betty Ann Catton; brothers: Walter (Carla) Catton and Albert Anson Catton; and grandchildren: Victoria Bailey, Destiny J. Catton, Cassandra Catton, Christopher Bittenbender and Elizabeth Bittenbender.
