CASILLAS, Alfredo (Freddie) Smith

Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Alfredo Casillas April 27, 1950 - January 14, 2014 Alfredo (Freddie) Smith Casillas, Sr., 63, went very peacefully with our Lord on January 14, 2014. He was born in Tiger, Arizona on April 27, 1950 to Guillermo (Willie) and Mary (Smith) Casillas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen; brothers: Guillermo Casillas, Jr., Eddie Casillas, Charlie Casillas and Henry Casillas; and sisters: Ortencia Casillas, Clara Casillas and Cruz Hernandez. Freddie is survived by his beloved children: Elaine Casillas, Chasidy Casillas, Alfredo Casillas Jr. and Lethe Otero; 3 grandchildren; brothers: Abe, Robert and Joe; sisters: Marylou Guerena, Carmen Prieda, Mary Burns and Betty Martinez. He lived in the area his whole life and was a very devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. His life was being surrounded by family and friends. Freddie enjoyed team roping, hunting, fishing and ranch work. He was a real fan who loved watching his Phoenix Suns and Diamondbacks. He loved each and every one of you and had many special memories with you that only you can cherish for the rest of your life. There will be a viewing Saturday January 25, 2014 from 9-10am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth, Arizona. A rosary will be said at 10am with a funeral mass following at 10:30am. A pot luck luncheon will be held after the mass at the Dudleyville Park. May he rest in Paradise, we will miss you dearly.
