GRADILLAS, Angel Celaya

Angel Celaya Gradillas, 84, an Arizona native, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2006. He was born in Marinette, Arizona on June 2, 1922. Angel was a decorated WWII veteran, earning his bronze medal and purple heart after his 4 years of service in the U.S. Army. He retired from Luke Air Force Base in 1990 after 25 years of Government service. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, Maria Valdez Gradillas, his son, Jesus Angel, Daughters; Delia, Lupe and Josephine. He also had two grandsons; James and Jacob and a granddaughter, Marissa. Visitation August 31, 2006 with Rosary at Sunwest Funeral Home 12525 N.W. Grand Ave. El Mirage, AZ. Mass was held on September 1, 2006 at Santa Teresita Catholic Church 14016 N. Verbena St. El Mirage. Interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona following the mass.
