WATKINS, Michael Steven

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on January 22, 2014 - Michael Steven Watkins, 34, passed away on Jan. 3, 2014, in Lawton, Okla. He was born Oct. 1, 1979, in Kingman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Neshelle Watkins. Michael is survived by his wife, Stephanie Watkins; mother, Tammie (Brandon) Schritter; stepsiblings, Natalie and Mateo Schritter; father, Jeff Watkins; and the "kids" (dogs), Lillie, Ranger and Deuce. Michael was in the Navy from 1998-99. He loved playing his guitar and helped anyone who was in need. He had a big heart and a smile that could make anyone's day. Michael really loved children and he could often be found out playing with them. There will be a time of condolence to the family at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St. A memorial service will follow the time of condolence at 1 p.m.
