The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/24/2014 Marvin Rollo, 85, resident of Heber for 15 years, died Jan. 17, 2014, in Mesa of cancer. He was born March 20, 1928, in Ottawa, Kan. Marvin graduated from the University of Kansas with a civil engineering degree. He was wounded in the Korean War and was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He is survived by his three adult children: Brenda Hargis of Mesa, Jeanine Tilson of Montrose, Colo., and Brian Rollo of York, Pa. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Rollo. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Discovery Point, 6210 E. Arbor Ave. in Mesa. Angels Cremation handled arrangements. Call (480) 962-6435.
