Yuma Sun, Yuma, Arizona - Published in The Yuma Sun from Jan. 22 to Jan. 26, 2014 - Bonita Jean "Bonnie" Duncan, 80, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 9:35 p.m. in Yuma, AZ from a sudden illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Duncan of Yuma; son, Theron Anselmo of Phoenix; and daughter, Aimee Dudley of Phoenix; countless lifelong friends; close cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Gigi. Bonnie was a member of the Yuma community for over 12 years. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing cards with friends, reading, and gardening. Bonnie was active in a Red Hat club and the Yuma Newcomers club. A memorial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home in the Foothills of Yuma. Donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of Yuma or the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
