Annelle Henson, formerly of Payson, passed away in Florida on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in the hospital. She had been ill for some time.
Annelle Henson was well known as an artist, a minister, and spiritual advisor to many residing in the surrounding area.
She and her late husband, Hal, lived for many years in their home at Kohl’s Ranch where they were known for their Full Moon Drummings and potlucks. They later moved to town and opened an art gallery on Main Street featuring local artists before retiring to a home on Park Street in Payson.
No matter where they lived, people were always welcome and Annelle held art classes for all ages.
Called “Eagle Woman” by her friends, Annelle will finally rest at her family home in Georgia.
Annelle is survived by brothers and sisters who reside in Florida and Georgia, grandchildren, Bryan and Kristina Hendley, formerly of Payson; and a stepdaughter, Kathy Frierdich of Illinois and stepson, Mark Henson who resides in Mexico.
