Ronald G Wardenburg, 74, of Ludlow died Monday, March 25, 2013 in the care and comfort of his own home.
Born in Williamsburg, Iowa, July 7, 1938, son of the late Fred L and Betty (Hudepol) Wardenburg. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ron had worked for Storms Drop Forge for over 40 years. A lover of sports, he was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife Patricia A (Richardson) Wardenburg, his daughter Lisa A Wozniakowski and her husband Richard of Palmer, MA, and his son Jason R Wardenburg of Ellicott City, MD, cherished grandfather of William P Wosniakowski, brother of Robert Wardenburg of Odessa, TX, and Wayne Wardenburg of Wickenburg, AZ. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be Thursday, March 28 at 11:30am at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewell St., Ludlow, MA. Rites of committal with Military Honors will follow in Island Pond Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10am to 11:30am.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Sr Mary Caritas Cancer Center Fund Development, 216 Carew St., Springfield MA.
