WALKER, Arvel C.

Arvel C. Walker, 54, a radio technician for the Arizona Highway Patrol, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1964, in Maryvale Hospital. A native of Arkansas, he moved to Arizona nine years ago. He came to Phoenix in 1960 and resided at 6126 W. Earll Drive. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Vernijean of Phoenix and Mrs. Bob Bierschank of Edmond; a brother, Sgt. Lowell Walker in the Army at Manhattan, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. W. Miller of Joplin, Missouri; and a grandson. Services conducted at West Phoenix Baptist Church, 4449 W. Indiana School. The Revs. M. V. Mears, Melton Scott and Irl Atwood officiated.
