SONS, Newton E.

Newton E. Sons, 40, a carpenter for Halstead Lumber Co. ten years, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 1964 in Wadsworth Veterans Hospital in Los Angeles.  

Mr. Sons, 15848 N. 34th St., moved to Phoenix in 1945 from his native Alton, Illinois.  He was a veteran of World War II.  

Surviving are his wife, Hilda Mae; four sons, Ray, Wesley, Newton, and Caroll, and a daughter, Deborah Ann, all of Phoenix; five brothers, James, Oakley, Carroll, and the Rev. Russell Sons, all of Phoenix, and Franklin of Woodriver, Illinois; and three sisters, Mrs. Martha Wilson, Mrs. Ethel Tapscott, and Mrs. Edith White, all out of state.  

Services in A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams.  Interment in Greenwood Memorial Park.
