Arizona Republic - Sunday, December 18, 1968 Masonic Rites for Asa Perry Asa C. Perry, 66, of Cave Creek, a retired salt River water Project dam operator, died yesterday at John C. Lincoln Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. (tomorrow) at Hansen's Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th Street, under the direction of the Masonic Lodge. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Mr. Perry was born in Morehead, Kentucky and came to Arizona 23 years ago. He retired in 1965 as operator at Bartlett Dam northeast of Phoenix, a job he had held 11 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers. Surviving are his wife, Bessie, of Cave Creek; two sons, Calvin of Goshen, Indiana, and Charles, of Lapel, Indiana; a daughter, Mrs. Robert May of Shelby, Ohio; four brothers and two sisters out of state; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
