BARKER, Robert Estes

Robert Estes Barker, 69, passed over on September 28, 2003. Robert was born in Phoenix on June 4, 1934 to Earl and Jewel DeBerry Barker. He lived most of his life in Glendale, Arizona, graduated from Glendale High Schol in 1952 and attended ASU. His grandparents, Bessie and Estes DeBerry came to Glendale in a covered wagon from Texas in 1912. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann for 39 years, daughter Amanda Pelton (Chris), son Robert Bradley Barker, grandchildren Bryce 10, Blake 7, and Elyse 4, brother Jerry Barker and cousin Barry Arney. Memorial Service was held at Christ's Church of the Valley, 24958 N. 67th Ave., Peoria Friday, October 3, 2003. Published in the Arizona Republic on 10/1/2003.
