The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/28/2014 Billie Jean (Linebarger) Arbaugh, 79, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Show Low. She was born Nov. 13, 1934, the daughter of Oscar Franklin and Daisy Dell Perriman Linebarger. Billie was raised on a farm in Macen, Mo. with a couple named Lena and Roy Turner. She spoke about her pet pigs and her dresses made out of flour sacks. She returned to her family when she was about 10 or so. Her love of animals continued throughout her life. She loved camping, fishing, arts, and crafts. At the age of approximately 60, she received her GED and continued on to get her nail technician license. She continued in that career until she retired only a few years ago. Billie is survived by her sons: David Lee O’Dell, Jr. and Randy Thoma Arbaugh; daughter Debra Jean Arbaugh Prue, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joel G. Linebarger and sister Martha Henson. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
