BARRENGER, Desire (Frenchy)

Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, June 20, 1908, page 4 Old Timer Passes Away Desire Barrenger, better known as 'Frenchy,' an old time resident of this section, died in this city last evening. He was a native of France; came to America when about 14 years old. He was about 60 years of age. ------------------------------------------ Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, June 22, 1908, page 4, col. 1 Local News - The funeral of the late Desire Barrenger took place from Ruffner's undertaking parlors, yesterday, at 3 p.m. Burial was had in the Citizens' cemetery. The above obituary provided by D. Sue Kissel. Transcriber's note: The exact place of Mrs. Barrenger's burial is not known and therefore no headstone has been found for her.
