She was a faithful member of The Church of the Holy Nativity and a lover of animals. Irene moved to Arizona about 20 years ago, from Harrison, N.J. with her husband, Sonny. She is survived by her brother, John Dlugaszewski of Clark, N.J. and her sister, Regina Sokolewicz of Barnegat, N.J. A mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29 at the Church of the Holy Nativity, 1414 N. Easy St. Memorial contributions can be made to the Church of the Holy Nativity or to the Humane Society of Central AZ, PO Box 242, Payson, AZ 85547. Arrangements were entrusted to Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
