KEREKES, Mark Steven

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/31/2014 Mark Steven Kerekes, 56, died Jan. 6, 2014, in Delhi, N.Y. He was born Sept. 26, 1957, in Yuma to William Elmer and Gladys Jewel Kerekes. Mark served his country in the United States Air Force. He grew up fishing, tubing and skiing on the Colorado River, as well as camping and hunting in the Kofa Mountains. Mark was a beloved father, brother, uncle and friend. He made an impression on everyone that he met and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children: Becky Kerekes of Show Low, Gladys Kerekes of Eagar, Will Kerekes of Delhi, N.Y., Jewel Corrao of Orlando, Fla., Abigail Markham of Lake City, Fla.; step-daughter Charlie Brady of Phoenix, as well as his siblings: Bill Kerekes (Linda) of Yuma, Mike Kerekes (Cheryl) of Yuma and Patti Wright (Ron) of Tucson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at VFW Post 8987, 593 N. Main St. in Eagar. Everyone is welcome.
