FLOEN, James (Slim) Lyle

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, January 30, 2014 James (Slim) Lyle Floen was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Red Wing, Minn., and died Jan. 18, 2014 in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Slim served in the United States Air Force, at Goodyear Tire in Lincoln Neb., and he retired from Cyprus Bagdad Copper Corp. after 15 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty Kay Floen; three children, James Floen (Lynn), Andrea Bowman (Kenneth) and Chris Carter; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He will be missed by all those he has touched during his lifetime. A celebration of his life took place Jan. 24, 2014 and was attended by his family and closest friends.
