Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, February 2, 2014 - Jeannine Margaret Horner, 82, passed away Nov. 29, 2013. Jeannine was born in St. Louis to Oliver and Margaret Valerius. Jeannine moved to Kansas City as a youth and graduated from Central High School. She married Robert H. Horner Jr. on October 25, 1952. She worked in the home as she raised her three sons and then worked for the Chevrolet division of General Motors from 1966 to 1992. She and Robert moved to Lake Havasu City in 1994. She returned to the Kansas City area in late summer of 2013. She is survived by her sister, Janet Mattox of Elsmore, Kan.; sons, Marc and his wife Barbara Horner of Shawnee, Kan., Rick and his wife Tricia Horner of Olathe, Kan. and Greg Horner and his wife Linda Stromquist of Anchorage, Alaska and her grandchildren, Andrea Horner, Emily and Nathan Beuster, Cullen Horner, Kelsey and Laurence Lafferty and Logan Horner. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
