POOLE, Arthur (A.C.)

Yuma Sun, Yuma, Arizona - Published in The Yuma Sun on Jan. 31, 2014 - Arthur Poole "A.C.", 77, of Port Charlotte FL, and formerly of Yuma AZ, passed away January 21, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957, then joined the U.S. Army same year until his retirement of 1974. He served in the Korean and the Vietnam wars, and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sgt, in 1974. He then became a Civil Servant and retired in 2001 as the Safety Manager of the Marine Air Station of Yuma, AZ. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, his sister Paula, nephews, nieces and grand nieces. A celebration of life will be celebrated in Port Charlotte followed by a burial at the Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice . Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Services Port Charlotte Chapel.
