Stricken With Paralysis And Dies Next Day
(From Tuesday's Daily)
Frank Dibble, aged about 35 years, died yesterday morning in the
hospital at 8 o'clock. The immediate cause of death was paralysis,
with which he was stricken on Friday morning last, about 1 o'clock,
while sitting in the bar room of the Palace hotel. When taken ill he
was removed to his room in the Scopel hotel, and despite the best
medical attention in the city he succumbed without regaining the use
of his speech after being removed to the hospital.
He was a member of McCabe's Miner's union, and a man who was held in
the highest esteem by all with whom he was acquainted. He lost one
of his lambs almost three years ago as they cause of an accident,
where when he has been unable to do heavy manual labor.
He leaves no immediate relatives in this County, but has some
relatives in Nebraska, who had been informed of his death.
His remains were taken in charge by the George C. Ruffner
undertaking establishment, from the parlors of which the funeral
will take place, and announcement of which will be made later.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Dibble is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
