Anna "Nancy" Miller, age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Angel Wing's Assisted Living in Vernon, Arizona. Nancy was born on July 12, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James J. Gilson and Annie Givins Gilson.
Nancy married Harold A. Miller on February 13, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA. He joined the United States Army and was sent to Germany. Nancy moved to Germany with their daughter Karen in 1954 to join Hal. They returned to the United States in 1956. Nancy loved to do crossword puzzles and to go hiking. She also volunteered at Summit Healthcare for 9 or 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all.
She is survived by her husband: Hal. Her children: Karen Ann Shannon, Susan Elizabeth (Ron) Hickman, David James (Debbie) Miller and Matthew Edward (Carey) Miller. 5 grandchildren. A sister: Marjorie (James) Mann.
Services will be scheduled in the near future. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel of Show Low, Arizona.
