Nellamae D. Smyth Hussey was born on May 31, 1930, in Ogden, Utah, to Frank and Nellie Dalton.
She married Harold Allan Smyth in 1951. She graduated from Westmont College in 1953 with her degree in English.
Nellamae was a support to Harold Allan in his ministry as a Baptist pastor. Harold Allan Smyth passed away in 1981 and in 1998, Nellamae married Stuart Hussey. In late 2001, Stuart passed away.
Nellamae had four children, Harold Lorne Smyth (deceased) of Phoenix, Ariz., Melody Mae Wallace of Tucson, Ariz., Robyn Allene DeHaan (deceased) of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Holly Deirdre Tomlin of Springfield, Ore. Other survivors include grandchildren Patricia Perez of Virigina, Allan Smyth of Colorado, Stuart Wallace of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Carolyn Kim of Newport, Calif., Emily Wallace of Tucson, Dustin DeHaan of Irrigon, Ore., Zoe Tomlin of Springfield, Ore., and Mai Tomlin of Springfield.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Worship Center, corner of Goodwin and Marina streets in Prescott.
