The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Tuesday, February 04, 2014 Charles Richard Adams January 16, 1932 - January 27, 2014 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Charles Richard Adams, passed away Jan. 27, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born in Wyoming on Jan. 16, 1932, served proudly in the Navy for 20 years, married his soulmate, Yoshi, on Sept. 25, 1979, retired from American Airlines and found his way to Payson, Ariz. in 1987. He was a friend to many and someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by daughter Sandra and is survived by wife, Yoshiko; children, Alina, Jamie, Dorothy, Rhonda, Donald, Kathy and Donna; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is and will always be missed. Graveside services were Tuesday, Feb. 4 in Phoenix at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road.
