A Celebration of Life for Betty Louise Hille Moody, 83, of Congress and formerly of Stratford, Okla., will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 8) at the home of Patty Jeter in Broken Arrow, Okla.
Distribution of ashes will be at City of Mesa Cemetery in Arizona.
Betty Moody died Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.
She was born Dec. 1, 1930 in Mesa, Ariz., to Peter Rudolph Hille and Clea Langford Hille.
She worked at the Wrangler factory in Ada for more than 20 years. She also worked as a cook at the Childhelp Merv Griffin Village in Arizona for abused, neglected, and at-risk children, where Mr. Griffin said she made the best cherry turnovers of anyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester B. Moody; daughter Shirley Moody Sanders; and Wesley Moody.
Survivors include her children Judy Moody of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Dennis Moody and wife Gaye of Salt Lake City, Utah; Cozetta Moody Gillette of Moore, Okla., and Patty Moody Jeter of Broken Arrow, Okla.
Other survivors include brothers Floyd Hille of Virginia and Jerry Hille and wife Barbara of Shelton, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
