Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, February 5, 2014 - Bobby Joe Harrison passed away in Lake Havasu City, Jan. 31, 2014 at the age of 77. He was born to Joseph and Fleeca (Stewart) Harrison in Conway, Ark., May 6, 1936. Bobby worked as a die-caster, moving to Lake Havasu City 35 years ago. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Bobby is survived by his loving family, wife of 56 years, Myrtle Harrison of Lake Havasu City; son, Darnell Harrison of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Glenda Jones of Los Angeles, Barbara Harrison of California and Carla Freeman of Cleveland; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Feb. 8, at the First Southern Baptist Church at 11 a.m., with words of comfort by Pastor Leroy Smith. Military honors will be performed by V.F.W.
