CARPENTER, Kathlyn Ann

Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Kathlyn Ann Carpenter August 8, 1958 - January 22, 2014 Kathlyn Carpenter beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandma, "greater grandma" and friend will be missed, remembered only by her unconditional love and beautiful smile. Her life on this earth was filled with all of her family and friends bringing beauty and joy to all of us as she always did. She loved her children like no mother could. Donny and Jamie were her life. Continuing to fill it with all the babies she loved so much, Destiny, Donny, Santiago, Trevor, and Malia, and Gracie. She was blessed with her first Great-Grandson Xzander at 52 and this was yet another hat she loved to wear. Always taking pride in what she did from making cabinets to running her cable office. Her greatest pride was in the fact that she loved us all the same, that being, her family, children, grandchildren and lots of wayward children she found along the way. As life sometimes can throw a wrench in our spokes, she would be the first to convince as all to have faith that tomorrow would be a new…AND SHE WOULD MAKE SURE OF IT!!!!! Never were we alone and never will we be alone as she will always watch over us. As Tammy was sitting in her happy place thinking, "what would my sister be doing right now? It made me kind of laugh as it played like a movie in my mind. There she was in her glistening white overalls, gold belt filled with golden tools ready to go around her waist, her wings were kind of crooked and ruffled a bit, her halo off to one side like a baseball cap, her tennis shoes shined so bright of gold, even a little golden oil across her cheek from where she had just finished tuning up the chariots. While passing Jesus she let it be known with her wink that she had fixed his throne, saying " I'm not sure if you had noticed Jesus but, it was a little wobbly". And of to another job she flew with her prideful smirk and shining tennis shoes. It ended with comfort in my heart and a smile on my face knowing that she's just fine in a happier place". We will all miss you Kat. Until we meet again…………
