News of the death of Chas. McCready was received in Prescott Saturday morning, and P. Maus & Co. Shipped out a casket. The body was brought to Prescott yesterday and the funeral procession started from the depot. Miners from Poland came in to attend the funeral.

Burial was had in the Citizens cemetery. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. H. B. Long.
