April Victoria Roundtree 71, passed away February 1, 2014 in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Jacob and Edith (Seymour) Denkers April 5, 1942 in Los Angeles.
April was a retired mortgage broker with the No.1 store at least three times. She was voted among the top 100 most influential women in Las Vegas in 1999. She moved to Lake Havasu five years ago. She was a beautiful seamstress making her daughters’ wedding dresses and children’s clothes. She enjoyed knitting afghans and baby blankets. She was a beautiful person, a great wife and mother, dedicated to her grandchildren. April was sassy, feisty, compassionate and loving. Philippeans 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
April is survived by her loving family, husband of 53 years Gary Roundtree of Lake Havasu City; daughters Cynthia Brown of San Ramon, Calif., Tami King of Placentia, Calif. and Becky Isbel of Wichita, KS; brother Dan Denkers of Corona, Calif.; sisters Bonnie Coston of Escondido, Calif., Sue Kam of Las Vegas and Donna Marlow of Devore, Calif.; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Victoria Ingersoll.
