Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Ted McCullough Sr. passed away Jan. 25, 2014 at the Lingenfelter Center in Kingman, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in Muskogee, Okla. and later moved to the Coolidge, Ariz. area with his mother, three brothers and one sister. Ted was a Navy corpsman involved in the Korean War, including Iwo Jima and Bougainville Island. Afterward meeting and marrying Eugenia from Needles, Calif., they resided there both being schoolteachers. Living in Needles, he was a loving husband and father to his family. He loved the river, boating, fishing and playing golf. He coached sports and was an active member of the Elks. He was the last of his immediate family to pass away. Ted is survived his children, Ted McCullough Jr. of Lake Havasu City, Carolyn Hunt of Tacoma, Wash. and Susan Humphrey of Ogden, Utah.
